A full-service engineering consultancy, built by engineers
Spheroid Engineering Limited (SEL) is an international provider of engineering, mining and construction consultancy services.
Founded in 2018 by a group of experienced engineers with a proven track record in mining and construction, SEL has built strategic partnerships with leading mining houses, international contractors, non-governmental organisations and government entities.
Our workforce spans the key consultancy disciplines (geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, hydrology and hydrogeology, environmental management, mining and mineral processing), together with the supply of critical mining consumables. Our principal consultants are registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia and the Engineers Registration Board of Zambia.

Scope: geotechnical core logging, Lugeon (packer) water-pressure testing from the cofferdam piers ahead of the plunge-pool and spillway works, interpretation of results, and installation of vibrating-wire piezometers at Kariba North Bank.
